These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Sign & Symbol Identifier mobile application (the "App"). The App is developed by Syahrul Ahmad Saputra.

By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

App Purpose

Sign & Symbol Identifier is an AI-assisted scanner for signs, symbols, labels, warning marks, public icons, road signs, packaging marks, technical symbols, and similar visual markings.

You may capture or upload a photo, and the App may return an educational report that includes a likely name, category, meaning, reading or pronunciation guidance, usage context, confidence score, readability score, image quality notes, and other useful information.

Educational Use Only

The App provides AI-assisted estimates for educational and informational purposes only. The App is not official legal, safety, emergency, medical, navigation, regulatory, engineering, or professional advice.

Always follow official posted instructions, safety labels, venue rules, product documentation, government guidance, professional advice, and local regulations.

AI Accuracy and User Responsibility

AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or context-dependent. Signs and symbols can vary by country, language, location, industry, venue, product type, or standard.

You are responsible for using independent judgment and verifying important information from authoritative sources before relying on any App result.

Photos and Privacy

Photos you capture or upload are sent securely to our AI service provider only to generate the requested report. The App does not perform face recognition, does not identify private people, and does not predict age, gender, ethnicity, or identity.

Do not upload photos that you do not have the right to use. Avoid uploading sensitive personal, confidential, or restricted information.

Subscriptions and Premium Features

The App may offer free scans and paid premium features. Premium features may include unlimited AI scans, detailed reports, full history access, reference guides, and report sharing.

Subscriptions are processed through Apple and may renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple ID settings before the renewal date. Purchase management, entitlement status, and restore purchase functionality may be handled through RevenueCat.

Refunds, cancellations, billing issues, and subscription management are subject to Apple's App Store rules and your Apple ID settings.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App, including by:

Uploading unlawful, harmful, or privacy-invasive content
Attempting to identify private people through the App
Using App results as a replacement for official safety, emergency, legal, or professional guidance
Interfering with App services, subscriptions, AI processing, or security controls
Reverse engineering, copying, or redistributing the App except where allowed by law

Intellectual Property

The App, design, branding, text, software, and related materials are owned by or licensed to the developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the App only for personal, lawful use in accordance with these Terms.

No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated reports will always be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific situation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses or damages arising from your use of the App, reliance on AI-generated output, inability to use the App, subscription issues handled by third parties, or decisions made based on App results.

Changes to the App or Terms

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue App features at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
