Terms of Use (End-User License Agreement)

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you," "User") and Syahrul Ahmad Saputra ("we," "us") governing your use of the One Little Prayer: Bible Verse mobile application ("the App") on iOS.
By downloading, installing, or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App and please uninstall it.

1. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, in accordance with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple EULA"), which is hereby incorporated by reference and forms part of these Terms.
Where these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the more protective provision for the User prevails.
You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code
- Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works
- Redistribute, sublicense, sell, rent, or lease the App
- Use the App in a way that violates applicable law
2. Subscriptions
One Little Prayer: Bible Verse is free to download. Premium features are available via auto-renewing in-app subscriptions:
- One Little Prayer Premium — Monthly: USD $4.99 per month
- One Little Prayer Premium — Yearly: USD $29.99 per year
Prices in your local currency are shown in the App and may vary based on Apple's regional pricing.
2.1 Apple-Required Subscription Disclosures
- Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Renewal billing: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the cost of the chosen subscription.
- Management: Subscriptions may be managed by you and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Apple ID Account Settings on your device after purchase.
- Free Trial, if offered: Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
2.2 What Premium Unlocks

- All quote-card themes and custom-photo backgrounds
- Unlimited custom prayer entries
- Quote shuffle
2.3 Restore Purchases
If you reinstall the App on the same Apple ID, tap Settings → Restore Purchases inside the App to re-activate your Premium entitlement.
2.4 Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled directly by Apple under their refund policies. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund.
3. Bible Translations
Scripture quoted in the App is drawn from public-domain translations:
- English — World English Bible (WEB)
- Spanish — Reina-Valera 1909 (RV 1909)
We make no claim of ownership over these translations and provide them in good faith as faithfully transcribed public-domain texts. You are free to share quote cards generated by the App; the underlying Scripture text is in the public domain in most jurisdictions.
4. User Content
"User Content" means any text you create within the App, including reflections, custom prayer text, mood selections, and favorites.
User Content is stored only on your device and never transmitted to our servers. We do not operate servers for User Content. You retain all rights and responsibilities for your User Content. We make no claim of ownership over it.
You agree not to create User Content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, or violates the rights of others. While we cannot moderate content stored only on your device, we may terminate this license to use the App if we become aware of severe misuse.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to circumvent the App's subscription verification
- Interfere with the App's normal operation
- Use the App to harass, defame, or violate the rights of others
6. Not Medical, Legal, or Therapy Advice
One Little Prayer: Bible Verse is a prayer-habit and devotional companion app. It is not a substitute for:
- Professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric care
- Pastoral counseling, spiritual direction, or theological advice
- Crisis support or emergency services
If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency services. In the U.S., dial 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Mood check-ins inside the App are intended as gentle self-awareness prompts and do not constitute mental-health screening or diagnosis.
7. Intellectual Property
The App's design, illustrations, mascot character, source code, trademarks, prompt text, and curated verse selections, excluding the public-domain Scripture itself, are owned by Syahrul Ahmad Saputra and protected by intellectual-property laws. You receive no rights to these other than the limited license described in Section 1.
8. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY.
We do not warrant that the App will be free of bugs, errors, or interruptions. We do not warrant that any feature will be maintained indefinitely, though we will give reasonable notice of significant changes via App Store release notes.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Syahrul Ahmad Saputra WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Our total cumulative liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid to us in subscription fees in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.
10. Apple-Specific Provisions
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Syahrul Ahmad Saputra, and not with Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
- Maintenance & Support: Syahrul Ahmad Saputra is solely responsible for any maintenance and support of the App. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support.
- Warranty: In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the App, if any, to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App.
- Product Claims: Syahrul Ahmad Saputra, not Apple, is responsible for addressing claims by you or any third party relating to the App, including product liability, legal/regulatory compliance, and consumer-protection claims.
- Intellectual Property: In the event of a third-party claim that the App infringes intellectual property rights, Syahrul Ahmad Saputra, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
- Third-Party Beneficiary: You acknowledge that Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that Apple will have the right, and will be deemed to have accepted the right, to enforce these Terms against you.
11. Termination
These Terms remain in force as long as you use the App. We may suspend or terminate your license to the App if you materially breach these Terms. You may terminate at any time by uninstalling the App. Sections 4–10 survive termination.
Your subscription, if any, will continue until the end of the paid period unless cancelled via your Apple ID Account Settings. No refunds for partial periods are provided by us. Refund requests must be directed to Apple as described in Section 2.4.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute not subject to arbitration or small-claims court will be brought in the courts of Indonesia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
If you reside in the European Union, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer-protection laws, those laws also apply where they grant you stronger rights.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced via an in-app notice or App Store release notes. Continued use of the App after a change indicates your acceptance.
