These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of NutriFacts Scan AI (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

NutriFacts Scan AI is developed by Syahrul Ahmad Saputra.

Important: NutriFacts Scan AI provides general nutrition label information only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, nutrition therapy, or a personalized diet recommendation service.

1. App Purpose

NutriFacts Scan AI helps users scan or upload photos of food nutrition labels and receive simple AI-powered summaries of visible nutrition information.

The App may highlight commonly reviewed nutrition information such as calories, sugar, protein, fat, sodium, carbohydrates, fiber, and serving size when visible in the uploaded or scanned image.

2. No Medical Advice

The App is for general informational purposes only. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, nutrition therapy, allergy advice, or personalized dietary recommendations.

You should not use the App as a substitute for professional medical, nutrition, or dietary advice. Always consult a qualified professional for personal health, allergy, medical, or dietary concerns.

The App does not determine whether a food is safe or unsafe for any medical condition.

3. AI-Generated Results

The App uses AI technology to analyze visible information from nutrition label images. AI-generated results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unclear.

5. Free Scan Credits

The App may provide free users with a limited number of scan credits.

Free users may receive 3 free scan credits. Each successful AI nutrition label analysis may use 1 scan credit.

Scan credits may not be consumed if the analysis fails due to network issues, technical errors, invalid image input, or unreadable nutrition label content.

Free scan credits are provided for trial use and may be changed, limited, reset, or discontinued at any time.

The App may offer premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions or other in-app purchases.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

If you purchase a subscription, payment will be charged to your Apple ID account through the App Store.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the App does not automatically cancel your subscription.

Any free trial, if offered, will convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial period ends.

Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple according to App Store policies. We do not directly process refunds for purchases made through the App Store.

The App, including its design, features, graphics, text, branding, and software, is owned by or licensed to the developer and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App unless permitted by law or authorized in writing.

The App may use third-party services for AI analysis, subscription management, purchase processing, or app functionality.

Your use of these features may also be subject to the terms and policies of those third-party services, including Apple App Store services.

13. Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We may also change features, scan credit rules, subscription offerings, or availability.

We are not responsible if the App is unavailable due to technical issues, maintenance, service provider issues, internet problems, or other circumstances beyond our control.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the App will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for your specific needs.

We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated nutrition label summaries.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

You agree that your use of the App and reliance on any information provided by the App is at your own risk.

16. Apple App Store Terms

If you download the App from the Apple App Store, your use of the App may also be subject to Apple’s applicable terms, conditions, and policies.

Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support services for the App. Support is provided by the developer using the contact information below.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.

Continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
