This Privacy Policy describes how Gym Plan Widget ("we," "our," "the App," or "the Developer") handles information when you use the iOS application.

1. Summary

Gym Plan Widget is a local-first fitness habit application. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell your personal data. All of your workout plans, streaks, journal entries, reminders, themes, and preferences are stored only on your device.

The App does not require any of the following:

Account creation or login
Email address or phone number
HealthKit, Apple Health, or any health data
Camera, microphone, photo library, or contacts
Location data (precise or approximate)
External servers operated by us

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

Your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying information
Your physical address, GPS location, or IP address
Your biometric data, weight, body measurements, or health metrics
Your contacts, calendar, photos, or files
Any analytics about your usage of the App
Any advertising identifiers (we do not show ads)

3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The following information is created by you and stored exclusively on your device using Apple's UserDefaults:

Category	What it includes
Onboarding answers	Your first name (as you typed it), your training goal, struggle, workout level, days per week, and motivation style
Workout data	Selected workout plan, custom workout plans you create, completed workout dates, today's checklist state
Streak & progress	Current streak, best streak, total completed workouts, weekly and monthly counts
Journal entries	Workout type, date, duration, favorite exercise, your notes, your self-reported energy level (Low/Normal/Strong)
Reminder settings	Whether reminders are on/off, time(s) you chose, weekday selection
App preferences	Selected theme, dark/light mode preference, first launch date
Subscription status	A local cache of your premium entitlement (mirror of RevenueCat)

This data is never transmitted off your device by us. It is included in your standard iCloud Device Backup if you have iCloud Backup enabled in iOS Settings (controlled by you, not us).

4. Widgets and App Group Container

The App provides Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets. To display today's workout in widgets, the App stores a small snapshot of workout data in an App Group container that is shared between the main app and the widget extension on your device only. This data does not leave your device.

5. Local Notifications

If you enable the Drink Water Reminder or Daily Workout Reminder, the App schedules local notifications through Apple's UserNotifications framework. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device. We do not operate any push notification server and we never send remote notifications.

Notification permission is only requested when you explicitly turn a reminder on — never at app launch.

6. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

6.1 Apple StoreKit and App Store

When you purchase a subscription, Apple processes the transaction through its standard App Store payment system. The App does not see or store your payment details. Apple's Privacy Policy applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

6.2 RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to verify and manage your subscription entitlement. When you purchase, restore, or cancel a subscription, RevenueCat receives a randomized anonymous user identifier (no name, email, or device identifier from us) and the App Store transaction data forwarded by Apple. RevenueCat does not receive any of the personal data listed in Section 3.

The data RevenueCat collects under their direct relationship with you is governed by their policy.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for general audiences and is rated 4+ on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Because we do not collect personal information from anyone, no special procedures are required for children.

8. Data Retention

Because all data is stored on your device, you control retention completely. You can:

Clear specific data via Settings → Reset Data inside the App
Delete the App from your device to remove all locally stored data (subscription status excluded, as it is tied to your Apple ID)
Manage your subscription separately via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device

9. Your Rights

Since we do not collect or store any data on our servers, there is no data for us to provide, delete, or transfer on your behalf. You retain full control over all data created by the App through the device-level actions described in Section 8.

10. Data Security

All data is stored using Apple's standard UserDefaults and App Group container, which inherit the security of your iOS device. We recommend enabling a device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID to protect your device.

11. International Users

The App operates identically in all regions. Because we do not collect or transfer personal data, no cross-border data transfer occurs under our service.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and post the new version inside the App and at the URL provided on the App Store. Continued use of the App after a change indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.

13. Medical Disclaimer

Gym Plan Widget is a fitness motivation and habit-building app. It is not a medical device, medical service, or substitute for professional medical advice. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, recovery scores, fatigue detection, body analysis, or guaranteed fitness results. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any exercise program.
