GlowStyle Ideas ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application, GlowStyle Ideas (the "App").

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By accessing or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the App.

1. Information We Collect

We believe in data minimization and transparency. We collect the minimum amount of data required to provide the core functionality of the App: estimating face shapes, providing cosmetic appearance insights, and managing your style journal.

A. 2D Photo & Face Image Data (No TrueDepth or ARKit usage)

• What we collect: When you take a photo using the App's camera or select a photo from your device's photo library, the App accesses the 2D visual image.
  • Note on Apple Face Data APIs: GlowStyle Ideas does not use or access Apple's TrueDepth API, ARKit face tracking (such as ARFaceTrackingConfiguration), or any 3D facial topology/mesh mapping. We do not collect or process depth maps, coordinate tracking data, or biometric face prints.
• How it is used: The 2D face image is optimized, resized, and converted to a base64 string on-device. It is then securely transmitted via encrypted HTTPS to our AI service provider, OpenRouter (which processes it via Gemini and GPT models), solely to analyze the visual outline and landmarks for non-medical cosmetic and style suggestions (e.g., face shape estimation, styling advice, hairstyle ideas, and makeup contour coordinates).
• Face Recognition and Identification: We do not use face images for facial recognition, user identification, user authentication, profile matching, or tracking. The data is processed anonymously without association with personal identity.
• Data Sharing & Third Parties: The 2D photo is shared only with OpenRouter (our AI processing partner) to generate the cosmetic styling result. We confirm that any third-party service provider we share data with (including OpenRouter and its underlying AI models) provides the same or equal privacy and security protection as described in this Policy. The photo is not shared with any advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties.
• Storage and Retention: We do not store your face images or facial analysis data on our servers. The face images are processed in-memory for the duration of the API analysis request and are automatically and permanently deleted from operational memory immediately after the styling results are returned (typically within seconds). No face image data is ever written to persistent remote storage.

B. Private Progress Journal (On-Device Storage)

• What we collect: The App stores your saved style summaries (including dates, face shape estimates, appearance notes, and self-care ideas) locally on your device.
• Storage: This data is stored using iOS persistent local storage (UserDefaults and file systems) and remains on your device. We do not sync your Progress Journal to a remote server. You can delete entries or clear the entire journal at any time from the App's settings screen.

C. Purchase and Subscription Data

• What we collect: To verify and manage your premium subscription, we use a third-party service, RevenueCat. RevenueCat collects purchase-related information such as transaction IDs, purchase dates, subscription status, and receipt validation tokens.
• Identity: This data is associated with an anonymous, randomized user identifier generated by the App. We do not collect or store your real name, email address, billing address, or credit card information; all financial transactions are handled securely by Apple's App Store.

D. Device and Usage Information

• What we collect: We do not track your location, browsing history, or personal identifiers. The App may collect anonymous diagnostic logs (such as crash reports) to help us maintain stability and troubleshoot bugs.

2. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We only share information with trusted third-party service providers who are essential to the App's operations:

1. OpenRouter (AI Analysis): Selected face images are securely transmitted to OpenRouter to analyze and extract cosmetic insights using the Gemini/GPT models.
2. RevenueCat (Subscription Management): Transaction receipts are securely sent to RevenueCat to check and validate your entitlement status.
3. Apple App Store (Payment Processing): All subscription purchases, renewals, and refunds are processed exclusively by Apple.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

• Image Data: Photos captured or uploaded to the App are deleted automatically from operational memory immediately after the analysis request completes.
• Progress Journal: Your journal history is stored locally on your device. You have full control over this data. You can delete specific entries or purge the entire journal database at any time using the "Clear Journal Entries" option in the Settings view.
• Subscription History: Subscription tokens are stored by Apple and RevenueCat. If you wish to delete your anonymous subscription history, you may request help through our support channel.

4. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

5. Security of Your Data

We take the security of your data seriously. All communications between the App and our service providers (OpenRouter, RevenueCat) are encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS).

6. Apple App Store Compliance

This Privacy Policy is designed to comply with Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines, including Guideline 5.1 (Privacy). We respect user privacy choices, provide transparent disclosures, and grant you full control over your locally stored journal data.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
