Collector Price Identifier (the "App") is developed by Syahrul Ahmad Saputra ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

1. App Purpose and Core Functionality

The App is an AI-powered collectible scanner designed to help users identify collectible items (such as trading cards, video games, comics, action figures, toys, antiques, sneakers, and other memorabilia) and receive estimated market value ranges based on visible details and online market references.

2. Information Handled by the App

To provide the App’s services, certain information is processed securely:

A. Photo and Image Data

• AI Processing: When you capture a photo or upload an image of a collectible item for analysis, the image is sent securely via HTTPS to our AI service provider, OpenRouter (specifically using models such as Google Gemini 2.5 Pro). The image is used solely to identify the item, extract visible details, and generate relevant search queries.
• Biometric Data & Faces: We do not use the App to identify individuals, perform facial recognition, estimate age/gender, or extract biometric data. We advise users to avoid capturing photos containing readable faces or sensitive personal information.
• No Remote Image Storage: We do not operate a remote server to store or host your scanned images. All images analyzed are transiently processed by the AI service provider to compile the report.

B. Search Queries and Market References

• Market Search: To find pricing reference estimates, the search queries generated by our AI agent are sent securely to our Search API provider (SearchAPI.io). The Search API returns publicly available online marketplace listings (such as eBay, PriceCharting, etc.) matching the item's details. No user-identifying information is attached to these search queries.

C. Locally Stored Information

The App stores the following information locally on your device (using iOS UserDefaults and local storage frameworks):

• Saved collectible scan history (including item name, brand, condition, and estimated price ranges).
• Locally cached thumbnail images associated with your scan history.
• Items saved in your Collection Tracker and Wishlist.
• Local scan credit limits and app preferences.

You can clear or delete your local scan history and tracked items at any time directly through the App settings.

D. Purchase and Subscription Info

• In-App Billing: The App offers a Premium subscription processed directly by Apple through their secure App Store billing system.
• RevenueCat Integration: We integrate the RevenueCat SDK to manage, check, and restore your subscription entitlement status. We do not directly collect, process, or store your credit card, billing address, or payment details.

3. Third-Party Services We Use

The App integrates the following third-party services:

1. OpenRouter (AI Processing): Evaluates item images and returns structured collectible details.
2. SearchAPI.io (Market Searches): Scrapes online market listings to fetch public pricing references.
3. RevenueCat (Subscription Management): Checks entitlements and purchase receipts.
4. Apple App Store (Platform & Billing): Manages payments, updates, restore actions, and system permissions (camera, photos).

Each of these third-party services handles your data in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

4. Data Retention

• Local scan history, collection details, and wishlist data remain on your device until you delete them manually, clear the App’s local cache, or uninstall the App.
• Network transmissions to OpenRouter and SearchAPI.io are transient and deleted by the providers in accordance with their standard API privacy frameworks.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has contacted us with support queries or submitted personal data, please email us so we can immediately delete it.

6. Important Disclaimer

Collector Price Identifier provides AI-generated collectible estimations for educational and informational references only. It does not provide certified appraisals, official valuations, or guaranteed sale values.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised "Last updated" date.
